The looks and action of this gun is as realistic as it gets for a full sized airsoft rifle. The bolt carrier group and chamber look just like the real thing. Even the selector switch operates just like a real gun, meaning when the hammer is cocked it moves freely, but when the hammer has been released the selector can no longer select 'Safe'. 

Much of the gun is made of a durable ABS plastic, which is to be expected from a Japanese gun. This makes for a very light weight maneuverable rifle.
