Latest Pantac item now available at RedWolf Airsoft... "A replacement for the old Interceptor Body Armor, the IOTV or Improved Outer Tactical Vest is currently in use by the United States Army. Compatible with the Deltoid Axillary protection system, E-SAPI (Enhanced Small Arms Protective Insert) and Side SAPI plates as well as the Interceptor Body Armors Groin protector.­

The medium sized IOTV is actually 3.6 lb lighter than the medium sized Interceptor Vest whilst providing more coverage at the same time. The functionality of Enhanced Side Ballistic inserts which provides coverage under the arms and down the sides of the torso is a built in feature of the IOTV.

Pantac mimics the real steel IOTV armor by providing the ability to don the armor in two ways; The first is to simply place the vest over the head and pull down like wearing a T-Shirt, and the second is to remove the fasteners on the operators left shoulder, sliding into the vest to the right. To complete the procedure for both methods the wearer then lifts up the front panel of the vest and fastens the cummerbund, which reduces the weight of the vest off the shoulders, and then fastens the side protection modules.

As with all the newer systems, the IOTV features a hidden pull tab that breaks apart the armor with a single tug. Being that the pull tab is now hidden, it is much harder to accidentally release your armor, and you can be sure that if it does happen, it would either mean, you have just been shot with a real bullet, or your mates were just looking for S*** and giggles.

Unlike older vests which uses the MOLLE system, the new IOTV utilizes the newer PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) webbing on the front, back, and sides for attachment of pouches and modular accessories; Not to worry though as existing MOLLE gear fits just as well onto the PALS webbing. The IOTV even comes with a comfy Arse protector!
Made of light weight abrasion and water resistant 1000D Invista Cordura fabrics with YKK zippers, ITW Nexus & UTX buckles with Mil-Spec. Sewing Seams and UTX top quality brass snap buttons adopted. Mil-Spec. Velcro is good for over 20,000 uses.
Mil-Spec. 420 denier Nylon liner improving durability and water resistance.
