Laylax has released a guide for installing the Nineball custom charging handle onto the Tokyo Marui MP7A1 gas blowback submachine gun. This component replaces the original resin part with a version made from machined aluminum alloy. The material change is intended to increase the part's durability during regular operation.

The design features an enlarged surface area that allows the user to rack the bolt from a single side. This removes the requirement of pinching both sides of the handle simultaneously, which is necessary with the factory-standard lever. This modification is intended to streamline the manual cycling process.

Installation of the aluminum handle requires approximately five minutes to complete. The process is straightforward, necessitating only a Phillips head screwdriver for the swap. This makes it a functional upgrade that can be integrated quickly without specialized tools or extensive technical knowledge.
