Strike Planet: WE Airsoft Colt 1943 Version Review

Strike Planet gets to review the Colt 1943 GBB Pistol from WE Airsoft which should be available at many retailers... "The WE Colt 1943 airsoft pistol is essentially a shortened version of the classic M1911 A1. The body of the pistol is completely made of metal (light alloy), which has a positive effect on the pistol's surroundings - it is quite weighty and is indistinguishable in weight from its firearms counterparts.

The controls completely copy those of the 1911 model - double protection against accidental firing with a separate safety catch and built into the handle. Standard magazine eject button, trigger, trigger and slide stop lever. The model is equipped with a GBB recoil imitation mechanism, which sets the bolt in motion during firing.

The WE Colt 1943 (WE-002) pistol runs on a green gas, which is refueled directly into the magazine through the bottom filling valve. During refueling, the gas cylinder must be kept upside down, like the store itself. Shooting from pistols on green gas is possible at temperatures above +10 degrees Celsius. When storing in a store, it is imperative to leave a little gas so that the rubber seals do not dry out."
