6mm Badger checks out the VFC M249 Compact BoxMag if it is a good accessory or an expensive thing to procure... "Today I’m unboxing and showing off the brand-new VFC Compact BoxMag Gas Reservoir for the VFC M249 Gas Blowback. This new design is smaller, lighter, and more compact than the original large BoxMag — but it comes with some pros and cons.

• Talk about issues with the older M4 gas mag version and the HPA setup

While the new BoxMag looks really promising, at $180 it’s more expensive than the larger version and has less visible capacity. Still, if it performs well in my upcoming tests, it could be a huge upgrade for running the VFC M249 without bulky mags or HPA lines."
