DesertFox Airsoft takes a look at the polymer EMG x KAC KS-1 AEG which features authentic KAC trades, an ambidextrous bolt release, selector switch, and magazine release — mirroring the real KS-series carbine's ergonomic upgrades to the AR-15 platform.

Under the hood, a high-speed WELLPRO-powered Ver. 2 gearbox delivers up to 30 rounds per second, fed through a 330mm brass 6.03mm inner barrel with a rotary hop-up system. The quick-change spring system allows for rapid FPS adjustments, while the 12.75" URX6 M-LOK polymer handguard provides impact-resistant accessory mounting at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions.

The package ships ready to play, including an EMG SIGMA stock for rear-wired battery access (7.4v LiPo recommended via T-Plug/Deans), a 140-round mid-cap magazine compatible with most M4/M16 AEG mags, and an eHUB-compatible flash hider. Weighing in at 2,200g and adjustable from 735mm to 820mm, the KS-1 is available now in Black and Tan.
