Golo Airsoft does a quick review of the VFC Umarex Glock 17 Gen 5 MOS GBB pistol, starting with an unboxing that reveals the MOS plates and tools. An initial firing test showed a muzzle velocity of approximately 80 m/s, but he immediately noticed that the slide stop was sluggish and needed adjustment to function correctly.
During the detailed disassembly, he examined the internal components, noting an integrated extractor and quick signs of friction wear on the hammer after only one magazine. A significant positive change was observed in the gas system, which features a redesigned, flattened gas inlet and a larger flow valve opening for better gas flow compared to older VFC models.
He confirmed that existing modification techniques for previous VFC Glock models are still applicable to this new generation. After reassembly, the pistol performed well, although he made a final, slightly critical assessment that the pistol's overall exterior finish and feel are only average.
