SK Airsoft On The Tokyo Marui SAIGA-12 SBS

Here is what SK Airsoft says about the Tokyo Marui Saiga 12 SBS, a gas blowback airsoft shotgun based on the short-barreled tactical conversion of the AK-derived Saiga 12. It is a unique model, being the only semi-automatic, triple-shot, magazine-fed gas blowback shotgun available, a replica that took five years to develop. The gun is constructed from a zinc/aluminum alloy, steel, and polymer, weighing about 3.5 kg.

The Saiga 12 SBS features a fixed hop-up and fires three BBs at once, allowing for a wide spread at close range. It is designed for use with weaker gas like 134A, not stronger green gas. The model’s rarity also presents challenges in acquiring spare parts and expensive magazines. Despite these limitations, they find the shotgun’s realistic sound, recoil, and distinctive mechanics create a satisfying and enjoyable gameplay experience.
