DesertFox Airsoft At AirsoftCON 2025

DesertFox Airsoft gives us a tour of what he saw at Evike.com's Airsoft Con 2025, beginning with the setup day and an entertaining interlude featuring Chris Bass discussing his advisory role on the fictional Battlefield 6 single-player campaign, complete with gameplay footage. Following the preparation, the event officially kicks off with an unboxing of the VIP bags. Early product highlights from the convention floor include the Arms 75-liter rifle backpack from Laylax, which features a built-in rifle case and water-resistant materials, and their limited-edition transparent Auto BB Loader, which boasts a 1,300-round capacity and supports tracer BBs.

A significant portion of the convention focused on new airsoft replicas and performance upgrades. LCT Airsoft showcased their compact AK MOE pistol replica with a Picatinny rail for stock customization and a swappable trigger guard for standard AK magazine compatibility. The EVIC Performance Shop presented a lineup of custom builds, including a fully upgraded LCT EMG Quick Hatch and new releases like the KWA TAC 9, which utilizes KMP9 magazines and comes in both green gas and CO2 versions. Furthermore, E&L's updated 2.0 series of AKs were introduced, featuring a new rotary hop-up system and upgraded internals, while Mech Labs demonstrated their fully mechanical, no-battery HPA rifle and the new XOD engine, which offers adjustable nozzle movement and rate-of-fire tuning.

The tour also covered essential tactical gear, safety equipment, and HPA systems. ASG presented their cost-effective, impact-activated sound grenades that use a single-use shotgun primer. For eye protection, Bloc USA highlighted their Z87+ and V50 STANAG-certified eyewear, praised for its truly anti-fog capabilities. HPA players saw multiple new products, including a collaborative HPA-tapped G&G Lavar and a Monk Customs Oracle ARP build from PolarStar, as well as Hostile Airsoft's integrated Reflex backpack designed to hold HPA tanks and camel packs. Finally, Titan revealed their updated, more durable battery lines and a new charger with a detailed cell-by-cell screen, USB-C compatibility, and 20% faster charging speeds.
