Leon's Airsoft WE T-Rex Inner Barrel Problem Fix

Leon's Airsoft takes a look at a WE T-Rex pistol sent in by a customer experiencing a loose inner barrel. Upon disassembly, the technician discovers that the barrel keeps sliding out because the internal locking mechanism inside the hop-up chamber has worn down. Without this small stopper, the chamber loses its grip and essentially spits the inner barrel right back out.

While it is technically possible to patch up the old chamber with some makeshift padding, the technician explains that this temporary fix would create a gap. This gap would prevent the outer barrel from dropping properly during a shot, which is necessary for the slide to move back. Forcing a quick fix could cause the slide to jam, so the technician and the customer agree that a full chamber replacement is the safer route.

The technician installs a replacement chamber, making sure the alignment key locks into place and the adjustment wheel sits in its proper slot. After reassembling the barrel assembly and putting the locking piece back together, the pistol gets a quick test fire. The toy gun cycles and shoots properly, meaning it is ready to head back to its owner.
