Announced during the 4th Tokyo Marui Festival is the new Type 89 Gas Blowback Rifle. This is the 4th in the gas blowback rifles that the company will be releasing as based on their MWS-ZET gas blowback system. Based on the JSDF Type 89 5.56mm Rifle, this is expected to be released in Spring 2018.
