Revochan returns from a hiatus to unbox and examine the Tokyo Marui Glock 19 Gen 5 MOS. Whilst the bright orange packaging provides a wake-up call for the eyes, the actual airsoft gun features a new engine and an optic-ready slide. He notes that while the recoil feels a bit lighter due to the weight reduction of the slide, the overall cycling is snappier, making it quite a fun piece to handle—provided you don't mind the frame being a bit shinier than previous models.
The tutorial segment covers the mounting of various red dot sights, including Tokyo Marui’s own Micro Pro Sight and the RMR via an adapter. The process involves a clever button mechanism on the slide, though Revochan admits that some parts are so tight they require a bit of strategic prying and a prayer not to break anything. He also tests the fitment of several tactical lights, confirming that while most slide on easily, some combinations leave a gap that might bother those who demand absolute aesthetic perfection.
The technical deep dive reveals a significant performance bump, with the Gen 5 hitting higher velocities than its Gen 4 predecessor. However, the bonus segment turns into a cautionary tale about the frustrations of deep disassembly. Swapping out the iron sights for taller versions turned into a quest requiring a specific hoard of tiny tools and a surprising amount of manual struggle. Revochan says that while the gun is a top-tier performer, Tokyo Marui didn't exactly design the internal screw placements with user-friendliness in mind.
