Tokyo Marui announced that they will be releasing the 35 series bakelite real skin spare gas magazine for use with their AK gas blowback series on the 16th of February. The Bakelite type magazines, capable of holding 35 BBs, are meticulously crafted through the integral molding of aluminum die-casting. A unique surface pattern, reminiscent of Bakelite, is achieved by applying a special printing process. This involves a surface treatment to the aluminum die-casting, painting it with a base color, and then applying the special printing. This method successfully reproduces the distinctive surface patterns and stamps of real Bakelite magazines. However, it’s worth noting that the magazine catch parts, where components come into contact, may exhibit scratches with use.
