Stupid Airsoft checks the T238 Nano Flame, a compact tracer unit designed for airsoft and gel blasters that features a carbon fiber aesthetic and a USB-C charging port. Its small 28mm diameter allows it to fit inside many existing suppressors, though its glossy finish and blinking status light might not be for everyone. The device offers three modes: a standard tracer for glowing BBs, a muzzle flash "flame" effect that illuminates gas or smoke, and a combined mode for those who want the full light show.
During testing, the unit successfully illuminated green tracer BBs and produced a visible flame effect, even in full-auto mode. The single-button interface makes it easy to switch settings on the fly without needing extra tools. However, the reviewer noted that the status light blinks constantly while active, which could inadvertently turn a stealthy night mission into a lighthouse reenactment unless covered with a bit of tape.
While the flame effect adds a bit of cinematic flair to every shot, the unit's main appeal is its versatility in fitting inside various muzzle devices. It comes with an adapter and stickers, though getting it out of the box seemed to be the most difficult part of the setup.
