More on the AX Magazine and UAA "Poster Fiasco"

OptimusPrime

This is a running account of the controversy surrounding AirsoftXtreme Magazine's alleged "digital manipulation" of AFAD poster as reported here (click the link for reference). We have gotten in touch via phone with Ticky "Fallujah" Tabujara, who is the UAA President, and a lawyer himself, and he confirmed that they're mulling the possibility of filing charges against AX. We have sent an email to AX to get their statement on this issue but their address is "temporarily down".

We were given a link to a teaser of the upcoming Issue 6 of the magazine. Someone at ACMairsoft.com was able to save a copy of the teaser copy as it was already taken offline by AX and we found signs of manipulation of the AFAD poster in the sneak-peek. You can see for yourself by downloading the PDF file by clicking on the image below:

This is the cover page of the upcoming Issue 6 that they announced to release at the AFAD event:

This is an ad about the AFAD show as found on Page 7 in the AX Issue 6 Teaser. We also highlighted the area (in yellow) to show that the UAA name was stricken off:

We are hoping that AX could give a statement to us soon. They can email us at [email protected] in case they want to get in touch with us.
