MOH: Warfighter Preacher-Style Airsoft Kit

OptimusPrime

For those familiar with the MOH: Warfighter Finding Faraz mission, here is an airsoft kit put together by Muddy Reviews as based on Preacher... "Hey, everybody welcome back to another Muddy Reviews Kit overview! Today we are going over my Medal Of Honor: Warfighter (Finding Faraz mission) Preacher-inspired kit. If you are not familiar with the 2012 installment of the Medal of Honor FPS franchise it was centered around a fictitious JSOC unit and the real world GWOT. What drew me to this kit was the simple "Low-vis" indig look and the fact that Preacher sports a pretty rad AKS74U.

First things first we cover the AK pattern canvas chest rig. The chest rig featured in this video I actually brought back from Iraq but you can find something similar here.

This is a Chinese Type 56 chest rig and it is around 20.00$ USD. It isn't exactly like the one I have here as it has the wooden toggles but it is close.

Next, we have 2 different Shemagh Keffiyeh scarfs that I had purchased from a seller in Afghanistan before the fall of Kabul and the Taliban retaking the country. Shemagh Keffiyeh are easy to come by but I liked that these were from the region. Do look up what you are getting as these do have meaning with the different color patterns and you want to avoid offense which is why I went with the Brown and Goldish tan.

The Pakol hat was a must for this kit and I got mine from Afghanistan again before the Taliban resurgence. There was a period when there were quite a few sellers and shops in Kabul selling directly on eBay. You can however find one here for 14.95$ USD and they used to be around but are getting harder to find.

For the look, I needed a decent pair of trousers that would be utilitarian and look at home under my Shalwar kameez top. I went with a pair of Wrangler Cargo pants from Wal-Mart. These were 19.97$USD. You can find them at other locations I just happened to get mine at a local Wal-Mart.

I needed a Shalwar Kameez (Yeah I butchered that in the video) for the top. This is traditionally a 2 piece garment but I didn't want the pants as I was going to be wearing the Wranglers. I purchased mine from Pakistan but you can find them on eBay from all sorts of spots. Here is a Large set in the US for 25.00$ USD OBO.

The last item to round out the kit and look was a 5.11 Tactical vest the "Safari vest". I picked this up at a local tactical shop but you can find them online. Here is an XL for 30.00$ USD on eBay.

These vests were used by CAG, CIA ground branch, and other NATO SF units in Afghanistan early in the conflict as well as commonly seen with the Northern Alliance and Taliban / AQ fighters. It is meant to be a very simple "Hold All" kind of vest and allows you to carry a few magazines as well as a radio, and other basic essentials.

This is a really fun Airsoft kit as it has a lot of room for interpretation since it is based on a video game. You can also upscale the detail or go bare minimum it all depends on you. I had a ton of fun getting the bones of this kit together and look forward to fleshing it out further with even more details in the future.

Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoyed this kit overview. I hope to hear from you all in the comments section and as always get out there and play some Airsoft, the world needs more fun about now. Take care!"
