One of the bigger surprises for us at the SHOT Show 2014 is the announcement of Crye Precision's SIX12 Shotgun which just basically taken our away out attention from the latest gear using the new members of the company's Multicam family of patterns. In recent months, airsoft shotgun technology has been evolving quick. The models are getting more realistic with each release from the competitors that we are now wishing that an airsoft manufacturer get into the act quick and license the SIX12 for the airsoft market.
Crye Precision will always have a warm welcome in the airsoft market, as its most avid fans are from airsoft. But for now, even as we can just dream of having the SIX12 for the airsoft skirmishes, we'll need more information about the product.
Military.com Kit Up! Blog's Matthew Cox got in touch with Eric Burt who is the senior designer at Crye Precision, and previously from AAC and Magpul Industries. What he designed is a cutting edge shotgun that still reflects the design philosophy of Crye Precision:
