"The ARES SCAR is one of the top picks for the SCAR family. The lower receiver is similar in dimensions to the M4/M16 and is constructed from heavy duty polymers; the magazine release, selector lever, bolt release are in the same position and there is a M16 style pistol grip.

Although it is designed to feel and have many of the same controls as the M4/M16 series it improves upon them in many ways. The upper receiver, for example, is now one piece and has an uninterrupted picatinny rail on the top of the receiver, effectively doing away with the delta ring.

Its High Torque motor supports the gearbox function that pushes out around 330 FPS.

The velocity can be adjusted due to ARES' quick spring change system that allows the user to do so in a matter of seconds without the use of a tool. The battery rests inside the stock and its confined space allows for an installation of a Mini type one.

ARES includes a mediumn capacity magazine with the gun. It is metal and holds around 180 BBs. In any case, the model uses its own unique type magazines, which are compatible only with ARES' M14 magazines.
