Kuroneko YZ Crown Model M870 Sawed Off Airsoft Shotgun Review

The Kuroneko YZ Toy Gun Channel takes a look and does performance check of the Crown Model Air Cocking Shotgun M870 Sawed Off (18+ model), contrasting it with the 10-year-old (10+) version. He points out the external differences, noting the 18+ model has a simpler, more realistic receiver that lacks the rail mount found on the 10+ version. A major operational difference is the significantly heavier trigger pull on the 18+ model, which measures around 2.7 kg compared to the lighter pull of the 10+ version (under 1 kg).

Performance tests confirm the 18+ model's power, achieving muzzle velocities up to 74.69 m/s with 0.2g BBs, while the 10+ model reaches about 40 m/s. Despite the absence of dedicated sights, a 5-meter shooting test shows the M870 is capable of respectable accuracy, grouping shots within 10cm once the user learns its handling. He says at the end that the M870 is an affordable (around 4,000 yen) and accessible 18+ air cocking shotgun, planning a follow-up video to check accuracy with an optic by swapping out the receiver for the rail-equipped one from the 10+ model.
