Arms Magazine takes a close look at the new CYMA MP-443 AEP, an electric airsoft pistol that features a blowback system. The original MP-443, designed by Vladimir Yarygin, was developed for the Russian military in 1993. This real firearm uses 9x19mm rounds, has a Browning-style short recoil system, and a steel frame and slide with an 18-round magazine. CYMA's airsoft replica is the first to feature blowback on an electric model. Its unique design places the gearbox and motor inside the grip, with the piston and cylinder in the slide. A LiPo battery is also cleverly integrated into the magazine, making this an essential part of any Russian military airsoft loadout.
