The Philippine government, as part of the Mutual Defense Treaty with the United States, has requested for some RECONSAT photos to find the whereabouts of Elias Morales who is hiding at the foot of the Sierra Madre Mountains east of Metro Manila. As intelligence reports are firming up, they want to pinpoint t­he hideout of Elias Morales, which was provided by Kin No Yuri, who own the property through dummies, since the Japanese were kicked out of the Philippines at the end of World War II.

The US government has interests in capturing Elias Morales, who have provided arms to the drug cartels in South America that are doing narco-trafficking and narco-terrorism at the Mexican-US Border.

There are 5 strong points identified in the area and the elite forces from the Philippine Armed Forces must go through each of the strong point to find Elias Morales, weapons cache, and other documents to bolster their intelligence dosier.

STAGE 1: CHECKPOINT RAID

Breach this checkpoint as it will provide an opening to pouring more forces for the latter stages in the day. The checkpoint is lightly manned. However, there are unconfirmed reports that they can quickly be reinforced once the bullets start flying. Be prepared to bring support weapons to prevent the armed guards from being reinforced.

STAGE 2: RIDGE ASSAULT

It is confirmed that this will be one of the toughest stages during the operation. Assaulting the ridge would be tough, as it is also called "Hamburger Hill". The enemy forces are well entrenched here, with snipers pre-positioned and have a bird's eye-view of the terrain. The approach leading to the peak of the hill is also pre-sighted for mortar attacks so staying in one place would prove to be fatal. You have to move fast up the hill to overcome positions. Fix your bayonets if need be to clear positions.

The OPFORs that are arrayed against you are well-trained mountain troops with experience in Afghanistan, the Himalayas, and the Balkans. If your attack falters at this stage, all is lost.

If you succeed in taking the hill, then you will reverse the tide of the battle and it will be smooth sailing in concluding the operation. The enemy forces will have lost a very strategic position and they will try to retake it. Be prepared immediately to replenish your forces and ammunition, it's still a long way ahead.

STAGE 3: DEFEND THE PEAK

You can have a respite from the operations after sustaining heavy casualties in capturing the hill. You will have to rest your forces while the Kin No Yuri marshal their forces from below to prepare for an assault on your position to retake it. They will throw everything they've got, including the kitchen sink, to dislodge you.

There will be no air support as there are residential areas nearby. Collateral damage should be ABSOLUTELY ZERO as protests from the citizens would jeopardize any defense agreement between the Philippine and US governments. You are on your own when reinforcements and ammunition have been sent. A resupply would be impossible when the Kin No Yuri start attacking your positions as they will control all approaches to the top of the hill.

If STAGE 2 was hell. Then STAGE 3 is SECOND DEATH.

STAGE 4: SCRAMBLE! DOWNHILL PURSUIT

If you repel the Kin No Yuri in STAGE 3, then you will have to pursue them downhill as they will regroup at the foothills to establish positions to defend munitions, guns, and other arms being moved for delivery.

While you will need to move fast to capture and destroy the arms cache being protected, the Kin No Yuri have positioned small unit rear units who will pick off your forces one by one, and slowly delay your advance. Deploying recon scouts ahead should help you find your way down with minimum casualties. But as the OPFOR know the terrain better than you, they might compromise your forward scouts, so expect real time intelligence to be unreliable as they might not be able to report back to the unit commanders.

If the Kin No Yuri, delay your advance, then they will have moved all the arms to the helipad in STAGE 5.

STAGE 5: RIVER OF DESTINY

Be prepared to get wet! Elias Morales and his men are stashing all their documents and arms at the helipad for immediate evacuation. YOU MUST PREVENT THEIR ESCAPE!

But a river is between you and them and at the other side of the river, the remaining Kin No Yuri forces are deployed to prevent you from crossing and overrun the last position. Cautiously cross the river but do not spread out your forces as they will be decimated. Find a weak and shallow spot and pour your forces there.

Once you have crossed the river and cleared the other side of the defenders. You must move quickly to prevent the escape of Elias Morales and Kin No Yuri.

Accomplish this and you and your men will become destined to be heroes of the Philippine Republic.

Fail and you will be deployed to a god-forsaken island claimed by the country in the South China Sea watching fishes and interdicting mainland Chinese fishermen illegally fishing in territorial waters. Far from civilisation, and no hope of being promoted to a higher rank. The units that you command will be disbanded and deployed to fight the NPA and Abu Sayyaf in the toughest fronts in the country.
