Burst Head, the Japanese law enforcement and military equipment shop will be holding its 5th Blast Festival. This event will be held on the 7th of October at the same place as last year, at the The 4th explosion festival Ikebukuro Sunshine City Exhibition Hall D (No. 1, Higashi-Ikebukuro 3-chome, Tokyo). Various airsoft shops, manufacturers, and gear sellers will be setting shop there.

We Run Guns visit the Airsoft & Military Surplus store in Japan to check out the variety of airsoft guns and gear offering in Japan's capital... "This is the most elaborate gun shop/ airsoft shop in Japan that I'm aware of. They carry all types of accessories and military surplus gear. They had lasers, suppressors, drums, cool japanese patches  and even the gun of Rambo! The owners were nice enough to let me film and give you all a tour. Hope you enjoy!"

Happiness is seen all over Mister Pimpas' face as he visits Osaka, Japan for some airsoft shopping. He drops by the First airsoft shop where he goes over the gear and airsoft guns available for the local airsoft players. Also, he tests a monstrous gun so better watch the video below. Announced in early January 2016, Gunsmith Baton have finally moved to their new head office at B1F Don Quixote near Hachioji Station last 5 March. The head office is a 5 minute walk from the Hachioji Station and it is on the basement floor. Itsuya who is shown in the photos here, was there to greet customers visiting the new place.

Photos and video sent in by Modify-Tech during their participation at the Black Hole Show in Japan voer the weekend... "We attended the Black Hole Show in Japan from Jan. 9 through Jan. 11, and displayed our new XTC-G1 AEGs there. The airsoft players were welcomed to try the speed shooting competition with Modify XTC-G1."

There is much discussion in airsoft forums about the loadouts being used by Ukrainian military and pro-Ukraine militias given that airsoft players are very much versed in world conflicts since they do research on military gear and weaponry. In Japan, it has been reported that many airsofters are  now collecting Ukrainian-inspired gear, and they are very much detailed.

At the SHOT Show 2015, James Yeager of Tactical Response gets hold of Chris Costa who was also visitng the show as he has been regularly doing each year. He asks Chris Costa what he has been up to lately, and Costa replies about his recent visit to Japan as he was a guest for the Peace Combat Fest. Of course, they also discuss about the CostaGate which Costa has handled gracefully.

As part of their planned World Cup Shooting Competition for this year, G&G Armament just held the Japan leg of this world tournament. This is CQB set-up with players aiming for the best time as they shoot the various targets in the setup, comprised mainly of the G&G MET System. We don't know the schedule in other parts of the world, but we'll post these once we get them.
