Star Rainbow Company (SRC) of Taiwan, just released today their latest G36 variant, called the SR36KV. This has a flip-up rear and front sights, folding stock, and a Tactical Rail System. This is the standard issue rifle for th­e Latvian Army and their special forces. No pricing available yet as of this writing, and it has the much-admired Generation III internals as developed by SRC. Buckshot sent in the latest items from the Taiwan company, Star Rainbow Company (SRC) on the newly released tactical bipod for the SRC G36 and a soon to be released M4 Generation III. The all new gen 3 M4 come with 8m bearings, aluminum cylinder, piston head, steel spring guide and steel gear set. The receiver is also aluminum with the rest of the externals made of steel and nylon fibre. Better check the bipod out if it fits other G36 models coming from other manufacturers.

Whistler Peng of Star Rainbow Company (SRC) just sent in news of their newly released tactical foregrip and according to Buckshot, it seems pretty standard besides the fact that it got a small rail on the side that looks suitable for a Laser or a Flashlight. The front grip also uses the fiber reinforced nylon material that SRC now makes all the plastic parts to AEG's of. It is a VERY durable and strong material. Real Steel manufacturers use the same material.

Latest products to be launched by Star Rainbow Company (SRC) this April 2008 as sent in by Whistler Peng to Buckshot. They're releasing a new M4 magazine and an M4 receiver. The receiver is Anodized Finish with laser engravement while the magazine is a 300round Hicap hard painted with the markings tampo printed. A new Navy Seal M4 with Gen III internals will be released next week.  Both new products come with US SOCOM Navy Seals Markings.

News from SRC is that the SRC G36 versions are due to be released mid April and that they will contain the SRC version III gearbox with the same internals as the SRC SR416 ---all steel gears, aluminum cylinder, metal cylinder head, fiber reinforced piston, aluminum piston head, and 8mm permanently greased ball bearings. The externals are made out of high quality fiber reinforced Nylon (just like the real deal) metal parts supposed to be metal are metal.

Star Rainbow Company (SRC) announces new AEG releases by the end of March. The new releases will be two new contributions to their existing line of G36 style AEG’s This time the new releases will be the SR36C (G36C) and SR36K (G36K). Also a new AK version will be released. A version called AK-TAC, which basically is a AK47 with front grip with tactical light and a M4 type stock.
