Oregon Scientific ATC Helmet Camera Reviews Galore

OptimusPrime

Oregon Scientific Helmet Cams are some of the most affordable helmet cams in the market for extreme sports. I do consider these products as really durable and waterproof as based on my experience. Ever since the ATC 2000 review here at Popular Airsoft, Oregon Scientific has released 3 more products which are a remarkable improvements over ATC 2000. Now, the question is, how do we get to learn more about these products through a third-party review?

Here comes ATC-Helmet-Camera.co.uk  , a website owned by Thomas Etherington, and has kindly emailed us that he has his site up and running for airsoft players to visit and see for themselves what he has to say about the products. You get to read reviews of the ATC1000, 2000, 3000, and 5000 and perhaps future releases from Scientific Oregon.

ATC Helmet Camera is dedicated to helping you find out about Oregon Scientific’s range of ATC action cameras.  I will be posting the latest news on the ATC action camera range, reviewing them and advising you on each of them before you buy one.  Along with that there will be a store locator, so you can find out where you can buy an ATC online, and which online shop is most affordable!  I currently own an ATC2000 and love it.  I think these are a fantastic range of affordable and highly practical action cameras!

Oregon Scientific’s range of ATC action cameras come in 4 models, with the original ATC1000 only available second hand.  Each model is ‘wireless’, meaning it contains storage space and power within the unit.  This is compared to wired action cameras which would require a separate recorder and power supply.

The advantage of choosing a wireless camera is that you don’t need to have wires coming off your helmet, across your handle bars or where ever you choose to attach it, to a bag with a recording and power unit in.  The main disadvantage of having a wireless action camera, is because it is all built into one unit, it is a little bit bulkier and heavier.

The ATC range of action cameras are all highly affordable, and are aimed at entry to intermediate level users.  The original ones, such as the ATC3000, do not come with a built in screen for instant video play back, but this is available in the ATC5000, which definitely makes it a little bit more special.

The ATC range can be attached to your helmet, handle bars, legs and arms or pretty much anywhere you can securely wrap the Velcro strap around.

You can use your ATC action cam for a wide range of high action activities, such to record yourself mountain biking, skiing, white water rafting and so on.  The ATC range of helmet cameras are very popular with commuting cyclists, so that they can record their journeys in case anything happens and an ATC camera can be used for similar applications for motorcyclists and other drivers.
