There has been news circulating around airsoft forums and news sites that the KART M-14 EBR is a hoax. However, the opposite is true. RSOV.com is now taking pre-orders for the KART M-14 EBR together with the A&K M249 MK.I, A&K M249 MK.II, A&K M249 para, and the A.C.M. Japanese Type 89. Airsoftnews.eu has posted the photo of the M-14 EBR previously, but was not confirmed. You can view the image at the Airsoft.eu site.
Colorado Milsim LLC., a company just recently founded this year by Casey W. Meraz and his partners Robert Daihl and Tom Allred, is organising OP: Sudden Strike which will be held on the 28th to the 30th of September 2007. Mr. Meraz and his partners bring over 30 years of combined airsoft and leadership experience to the company. The venue will be in Northern Colorado, 30 miles north of Ft. Collins.
US airsoft forums are abuzz on the introduction Bill HR 428 IH (Introduced in the House) in the 110th US Congress "To require the Consumer Product Safety Commission to ban toys which in size, shape, or overall appearance resemble real handguns" which is filed by Mr. Edolphus Towns of the 10th District of New York (Brooklyn).

Filcombat, a member team of the Airsoft Combat Enthusiasts Brigade (ACE Brigade), based in Basildon, Essex, just celebrated their 1st Year Anniversary at the Skirmish site in Billericay, Essex, England last 19 August 2007. We were there alright to play with these nice chaps at a huge skirmish site. Food served was a combination of British and Filipino fares, and all were great especially for airsoft meal standards.

Taiwan-based Vega Force Company (VFC) already have released the AKS-74, an airsoft replica of the small-calibre version of the AK-47 made by the Russians from lessons learned in the Vietnam War. The real steel version fires a 5.45 x 39mm bullet, as compared to the AK-47 which dispenses the bigger 7.62 x 39mm ammo. Compared to the AKM, it has a distinctive muzzle brake, designed to reduce further the recoil and muzzle climb.
OPSEC Airsoft Radio has now made available the 16 August show for download. OPSEC Airsoft radio was put up in September 2005 by a group of airsoft enthusiasts "tired of reading several different websites to remain 'on-top' of the airsoft scene, but most importantly... tired of being out of the loop on local events/games."
