The English Airgunner does a review of the Colt XM177 Gas Blowback Rifle by VFC and we believe this is the version 3. The VFC XM177E2 GBBR is a replica rifle with Colt's official authorization and upgraded internals. These upgrades include a new lower receiver design, an improved firing pin design, a steel hammer set, a new buffer spring, and a redesigned gas magazine. All of these improvements enhance the overall performance and durability of the rifle.

VFC listened to customer feedback and incorporated it into the V3 version of their GBBR system. This upgraded system is used in the XM177E2, making it good to use for airsoft games, modification projects, or collections. The rifle has an overall length of 760/830 mm, an inner barrel length of 275 mm, and weighs 2550 grams. It shoots 6mm BBs and has a magazine capacity of 20 rounds. The muzzle velocity is 110 meters per second, and the construction is a mix of plastic and metal alloy.
