Airsoft Glock Tech takes on the Kizuna Works BSK43, deciding that the stock parts simply won't do. The project kicks off with the installation of a Dr. Black Type Y 4.3 slide and a steel barrel that is a bit more high-end than originally planned. Along the way, the host replaces the pot metal hammer and sear with upgraded versions, mostly because the original parts were already starting to look a bit sad and rounded off.
The modification process turns into a bit of a craft project when it comes to the blowback unit. To make a standard Hi-Capa unit fit this specific model, he has to break out the tools to grind down the cylinder and shorten a few screws. It’s a delicate dance of measuring, cutting, and hoping the air seal remains intact, all while trying to avoid sending tiny springs flying across the room into the unknown.
After some trial and error with barrel lengths and a bit of fiddling to ensure the magazine actually fits without getting stuck, the build finally comes together. The end result is a customized setup that even features a specialized tracer unit designed to match the slide's profile. While he admits the grinding work might not be the prettiest job ever seen, the functional upgrade proves that with enough patience and a steady hand, almost anything can be made to fit.
