Tokyo Marui offers an airsoft replica of the Japanese TYPE 89 assault rifle in GBBR version, initially used as a standard weapon by the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Forces (JGSDF).

As usual, the Japanese manufacturer delivers a replica with very good build quality and a beautiful finish, featuring a full metal body, ABS stock, pistol grip, and handguard. This replica features a powerful blowback system for a truly realistic shooting experience. Tokyo Marui has installed a ZET system internally to correct all the flaws of their previous GBBR models, significantly extending the slide's lifespan (factory tested over 10,000 shots). It also features a functional 3-ball Burst firing mode, selectable via an ambidextrous fire selector (Japanese markings).
