Target-1 provides an early review of the BATON Airsoft Glock G19X MOS CO2 airsoft pistol, which is scheduled for release in March 2026. They highlight its "crossover" design, which combines a compact G19-sized slide for easier handling with a full-size G17 grip for better control and higher ammunition capacity. Despite its metallic, gold-like appearance, the slide is made of resin to comply with Japanese regulations, and the gun features a threaded barrel for suppressors and a mounting system for various red dot sights.
During performance testing, the pistol shows consistent power and a sharp recoil typical of CO2 models. They manage to fire over 100 shots from a single 12g CO2 cartridge, noting that while the blowback softens as the gas runs low, it remains functional until the very end. The accuracy is put to the test at a 5-meter range, where it produces a tight grouping, and the high-profile iron sights are praised for being visible even when a red dot sight is attached.
They wrap up by demonstrating the gun's reliability in action through various shooting games, even with a suppressor and heavy red dot sight attached. Whilst they say the G19X looked a bit awkward, using it changed their minds because of how well it handles during quick draws and reloads. They also say that it is a versatile choice for both survival games and target practice, though his wallet might not be as enthusiastic about the upcoming release.
