A good review of the ICS Airsoft CXP-MARS Komodo AEG done by Tanie Militaria, an airsoft retailer in Poland... "The CXP-MARS Komodo  is a replica made of high-quality materials and components, known for its solidity and interesting solutions by ICS.

The replica is made almost entirely of metal: the body, barrel and front of an interesting shape are made of metal in  CNC technology , except of course: a comfortable pistol grip. a sniper stock, a magazine holding  300 BBs  or folding sights - these are made of durable plastic.

A characteristic feature of the ICS company and its replicas is the two-part Gearbox system   that allows for quick replacement of the upper module and adaptation of the replicas to the situation on the airsoft battlefield. Interestingly, the spring release system used will allow for a significant extension of its life after securing the replica. The modularity of the replica is definitely its strong point.

There is a battery compartment in the replica's stock. Another interesting solution is  EBB or electric Blow Back,  i.e. a lock simulation system.

Internal elements are fully compatible with parts of other reputable companies - the exception is, of course, the gearbox skeleton, nozzle and pusher. Reinforced internal parts are standard here, which makes the replica an excellent base for further development and tuning. The replica also features a MOSFET system that improves the rate of fire and trigger response parameters."
