A review of an airsoft AT-40, a custom-built anti-tank bazooka project created by the Rangers Airsoft Team to add more immersion to their matches. The team explains that this is an experimental prototype made of two main parts: a launcher tube and an ammunition tube. The system fires a 3D-printed projectile loaded with retro cap-gun toy explosives, powered by a standard 40mm airsoft gas grenade shell.

To load the launcher, the user unscrews the main body, slides the projectile into the inner tube, and twists it back together. The design features a working trigger mechanism and a safety switch specifically added to prevent teammates from accidentally getting blasted during a chaotic game. Once unlatched, pulling the trigger releases the gas to launch the projectile toward the target.

The team takes the bazooka to a field called Complexo R for its "baptism of fire" testing. An initial test shot with a dummy round reaches a distance of about 50 meters with a slight upward tilt. A subsequent live test with the explosive round successfully hits a wall from about 30 meters away, prompting plans for minor tweaks before officially using it to disable vehicles in upcoming operations.
