According to Stupid Airsoft, the Stalker Scorpion Piston for use on the Silverback Airsoft SRS gives 100% air seal. This modular piston for the SRS rifle offers significant performance enhancements. Its weight can be adjusted from approximately 65 to 148 grams, and it effectively silences the rifle while improving joule and FPS consistency. Furthermore, the inclusion of adjustable air brakes allows for precise fine-tuning of performance, and the option to short stroke the SRS enables quicker reloads and a shorter bolt pull.

The piston comes equipped with two interchangeable air brakes (short and long, optimized for different joule ranges) and two piston cups. A high joule cup facilitates higher energy output and a lighter bolt pull, while the Extreme Silent cup prioritizes noise reduction, albeit with a slightly lower joule output. Optimal results with the silent cup are achieved using oil lubricant. Performance can vary based on the cylinder and inner barrel used.
