Regarding the release of S-Thunder's SPM-300 series tactical training paintball markers, S-Thunder's Director of Business Development Yu-Hon Li notes the following, "we are very excited about the release of our new series of paintball markers. Similar to S-Thunder's SPM-100 and SPM-200 series of markers, our new high powered SPM-300 series markers ejects plastic or aluminum shells to simulate shell ejection similar to real steel. Our goal with the S-Thunder series of markers is to offer players, but more specifically Police / SWAT as well as Military and Tactical Training Groups a realistic M4 style paintball marker, with a similar weight and trigger feel to the real weapon. Similar to the real steel, our paintball marker magazines hold a limited number of paintballs and in the training environment, trainees will gain a better understanding that each shot needs to count whereas in competitive and recreational CQB / Scenario games, players can fire virtually a limitless amount of paintballs in these games which are geared more for personal entertainment.".

Yu-Hon also notes that "our paintball markers were created to help Police / SWAT / Tactical Training Groups / Military train in a safer manner so that members of these groups can reduce the use of real weapons to help avoid unnecessary injuries or loss of life as well as prevent live ammunition from contaminating any training facilities to save on operational costs.".
