Rango Store checks out the Lancer Tactical LTX Competition, a gas-powered airsoft pistol that borrows its design cues from the Glock family rather than the usual 1911 or Hi-Capa styles. It features a slide with a pre-installed universal plate for mounting red dot sights, which is positioned slightly forward. For those who enjoy making a bit of noise or lighting up the night, it comes with a standard 14mm counter-clockwise thread for tracers or silencers, along with a Picatinny rail for your favorite flashlight.
The pistol offers ambidextrous controls for the bolt and slide lock, making life easier for left-handed players who often feel ignored. It includes a fire selector located on the side that allows you to switch between semi-automatic and a full-auto mode with a high rate of fire. This means you can go from being a precise marksman to clearing a room in a flurry of plastic pellets before your teammates even realize what happened.
The construction uses a mix of a polymer frame and a metal slide, giving it a solid feel without being heavy. The slide also features specific serrations designed to make racking the gun a smooth process. While the model shown is entirely black, there are versions with colorful accents in blue, red, or green for those who want their sidearm to match their personality or perhaps their favorite sports team.
