The MOA Exhibition 2020 is by far the final airsoft trade event for the year and will show the trend of what the Taiwan Airsoft Industry will be showing to the world for 2021. It is also the second and event in which the airsoft industry has participated in, the other one being the SHOT Show 2020 in Las Vegas as the IWA Outdoor Classics 2020 was cancelled due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.

For the year, MOA Exhibition is smaller in scale as there are fewer airsoft manufacturers exhibiting with the VFC & SRC being the major brands seen there and they are joined by Archwick, PAF and Northeast Airsoft.

From what we have received from friends on the ground there, VFC and Archwick got some revelations that we should expect to be in the market by next year.

For VFC, which has the biggest booth at the event, it’s all about gas blowback rifles this time as they have revealed not only one but four gas blowbacks such as the LAR, H&K PSG-1,KAC M110K1, and the BCM MCMR. The LAR is the FN FAL or Light Automatic Rifle which was a service weapon in many NATO countries as well as allied countries.

We’ll be having a livestream session with VFC on these new reveals and we’ll share the video from VFC this weekend.

Archwick got a star on display and it is gas blowback version of the Colt Canada L119A2 that is licensed from Cybergun and made for EMG. There will be conversion kits for the Tokyo Marui MWS GBB and the NGRS AEG for those who want to convert their Marui AR airsoft guns into L119A2s.

Northeast Airsoft as always, got a booth to show case their various Sten GBB SMG models.  As for PAF they got some biggies on display.

Airsoft.nu got some photos showing the exhibition from above showing that there are fewer exhibitors as compared in the previous years given that other airsoft manufacturers declined to attend and exhibitors from overseas are also not present.

As mentioned, it is understandable that this year’s MOA Exhibition is smaller in scale given the predicament that the world is in. But it is commendable that the organisers are able to pull it off given that Taiwan is one of the few controls that got the virus totally under control, enabling the local airsoft industry to churn out new products next year.
