In this unboxing video, Stupid Airsoft takes a first look at the Tyrant 2011 airsoft pistol, a Hi-Capa platform sent to him by Modify. He clarifies right away that this is an initial impressions video rather than a definitive review, intending to put the replica through its paces later. The big surprise comes when he opens the box to discover that Modify custom engraved his channel name, "Stupid," onto the side, which naturally scores some immediate points with him.
Upon handling the pistol, he notes that while it is long and front-heavy, the overall weight is fairly light. He appreciates the comfortable, texturized grip that avoids feeling like rough sandpaper, and walks through the included accessories like a second magazine, fiber optic sights, a precision inner barrel, and an upgraded hop-up bucking. Initially mistaken about the build materials, he realizes upon closer inspection that parts like the safety levers and slide catch are actually coated aluminum rather than cheap plastic.
Stupid Airsoft ends the preview with a quick functionality test, filling the magazine with green gas to feel the recoil and running a few shots through a chronograph. The pistol clocks in at around 280 feet per second using a quarter-gram BB. He also shows a distinct hop-up system that allows adjustments externally via the takedown pin, saving players from having to pull the entire slide off just to tweak their trajectory.
