"GMR goes on to tell their side of the story in which they give a little back story on their history with OLCMSS. Ben (A13) says, 'This all stems from something that goes very far back, as far back as (Op.) Irene III.' At that event, GMR purchased a folding tactical ladder that they used to make entry into a second story building. During Irene 4, the felt that their “thinking outside the box” is what lead Col. McKnight to hate them when the deployed folding bikes at the beginning of the Op, which may have been the beginning of the GMR-hating, or at least in their eyes.

In response to the recent allegations coming out of LC XII, 'We didn’t yell at a veteran on Memorial Day, we yelled at a dude on a Sunday. It just happened to be a veteran on Memorial Day. We are sorry for that' Ronin (A11) says. 'We respected and still do respect the military and the rank, but at that point we were having a disagreement with a man removed from whatever position of power that he used to be or is still in the military.'"
