Airsoft Mike King Arms Python "Evil" .357 Magnum Airsoft Revolver Unboxing

Airsoft Mike takes a look at the King Arms Python "Evil" .357 Magnum, a CO2-powered airsoft revolver that looks like it belongs in the hands of a comic book hero. He notes its chunky, intimidating design and highlights the inclusion of realistic metal cartridges with silver tips, which he finds much better than the plastic versions often provided by other brands. Despite its impressive presence, he is quick to point out that the finish has several imperfections, giving it a somewhat weathered appearance right out of the box.

The review gets a bit more hands-on as he attempts to install the included metal top rail and test the revolver's mechanics. He finds the rubberized grip comfortable but mentions that it feels a bit loose, as if it is reluctant to stay attached to the metal frame. During a tradition where he tests if the cylinder can "sing" when spun, the revolver is humorously declared tone-deaf. He also struggles with the CO2 compartment cap, deciding that while the system is functional, it is a bit too fiddly for his liking.

When it comes to performance, the revolver proves to be field-legal with a reasonable velocity, and it performs decently during target practice. However, the experience is marred by a few technical hiccups, such as a piece of the rear sight flying off mid-test and some strange sounds during firing that suggest less-than-ideal internal seals. Airsoft Mike says that while it might be a great choice for a movie prop or for someone who likes the brutal look, those looking for high-quality reliability might find it has a few too many quirks.
