Jaeger Precision builds a customized airsoft rifle based on the Salvo Precision BRN-180 platform. The process begins with internal modifications, specifically addressing the hop-up system. He modifies the hop arm and installs a Flamingo rubber and a stainless steel barrel to improve accuracy. Some fine-tuning is required, including filing parts of the hop-up unit and the barrel to ensure everything fits and functions correctly without applying excessive pressure.
The build features a distinct aesthetic choice inspired by the anodized finish seen on Q Honey Badger rifles. The upper and lower receivers, along with the folding stock, are finished in a champagne-colored Cerakote. To provide contrast, the bolt is coated in a dark gray tone, while several other small components remain black. The creator explains that while the color choice is unconventional for this platform, it offers a unique look compared to standard factory finishes.
The final segment of the video covers the reassembly of the rifle, including the installation of the trigger pack, body pins, and the side-folding stock. Jaeger Precision notes that the BRN-180 is a lightweight and quiet gas blowback rifle with manageable recoil. Although the video concludes with the completed assembly, he mentions that further adjustments, such as adding thread-locking compound and potentially swapping out certain parts for gray versions, will happen after initial testing.
