Randy, who is lucky to use a real world person's name as a YouTube channel before somebody else takes it, shows how to install bullet links for the MG42 AEG made by AGM to give it a more realistic look... "I show how I installed bullet links onto my airsoft MG42 by AGM/MATRIX/S&T. Here's a list of things I used:
- 6/32 screws at least 1 inch long
- 6/32 nuts
- M53/MG42 ammunition belt (10$ for Yugo surplus M53 belt)
- Dremel with small grind wheel (optional)
- Blue threadlocker (optional)
- Flathead screwdriver
- Phillips screwdriver
- Drill with 7/64 drill bit
The links are held together by a spiral piece of metal similar to a spring. The ends are crimped down so the spiral piece holding the links together won't fall out. If you do not want to grind that part off, you could take a flathead screwdriver and pry the ends apart so you can rotate that piece out and separate the links."
