Hyperdouraku: TM MK46 Mod0 Review

The highly anticipated Tokyo Marui MK46 Mod0 NGRS has been released to the Japanese airsoft market and soon the world will follow. Hyperdouraku got one of the first units and as expected a full review done, in Japanese of course... "There is a category called Squad Assist Weapon (SAW) among machine guns. This is a small firearm used by a machine gunner who supports the team as a member of the infantry squad in the army. In many cases, they use the same ammunition as infantry rifles, but use large-capacity magazines and belt link ammunition that have excellent firepower, and are equipped with heavy barrels and replaceable barrels as a measure against barrel heat dissipation during continuous fire.

Modern SAW has two approaches, one that was originally developed as a small machine gun and the other that was developed to withstand continuous fire as a machine gun based on an assault rifle.

The MK46 MOD.0 modeled by Tokyo Marui this time is the M249 MINIMI machine gun developed by Belgian firearm maker FN, which will be made lighter and more compact by the US Special Operations Integration Force (USSOCOM). Redesigned and adopted."
