"The Thorntail X 1913 QD Sling Mount gives the end user options on where to mount a sling point providing a 45 degree offset for a lower profile, ambidextrous, snag resistant, anti-rotational, QD Swivel Socket attachment point. The 1913 QD Sling Mount is ideal for two-point slings and accepts all standard QD Sling Swivels or can be used as an attachment point for other types of sling hardware (HK Hooks, ULoop, paracord, etc.).

Built for strength, Thorntail X mounts are machined from 7075-T6 Aluminum and MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodized resulting in a mount that exhibits nearly twice the tensile strength of competing light mounts using industry standard 6061-T6 Aluminum.
