Matt of Fox Airsoft took a video of this event that took place in Colorado... "OP: Grand Redemption is an op that was hosted down in Colorado Springs Colorado. It was hosted at a shopping complex that went into bankruptcy and an unknown party was able to secure it as an airsoft AO for the sake of this event. It was an invite only event which made it for quite an interesting player base. All of the people involved were some of the top players in the state and even from some neighboring states.

The AO had a number of the best features that you can find on a MilSim AO. It had stairs, long corridors, foyers, atriums, all sorts of interesting angles, multi-story parking garages and since there was no power running to the AO there were also a number of pitch black rooms that the teams had to clear. It was a perfect example of why you should have a flashlight attached to your gun during a game that happens in the middle of the day.

All of the narrow passage ways, open corridors, exposed staircases, pitch black rooms, wide open parking garages and tight squeezes forced the players to use their best possible team communication skills to keep everyone alive and in the game.

Overall it was one of the best ops that has ever gone down here in Colorado and we are glad that it happened."
