Airsoft Depot Canada does a compatibility test for the E&C ATM Electric Blow Back (EBB) Airsoft rifle, powered by an 11.1V battery. The test checked three types of E&C magazines: the original, a STANAG midcap, and a polymer midcap, all of which worked successfully with the rifle.
A discovery was the specific magazine compatibility requirement: the magazine must measure 25mm from the feed opening up to the lip. Due to this specification, it is noted that other magazines, such as those made by Double Bell or Arcturus, will not function with this rifle model.
The test proceeded to check ammunition compatibility with three types of BBs: TBRM .2 non-bio, TBRM .3 bio, and ASG .32 bio-tracers. The rifle fired the .2 non-bio BBs consistently at 430 FPS and performed reliably on automatic fire. The overall test was successful, ending with a demonstration of the bolt lock feature engaging correctly after the last BB was fired.
