Ngngonly Channel does an upgrade of an E&C 416D airsoft rifle, aiming for a muzzle velocity of approximately 395 FPS, suitable for outdoor play in Thailand. The main components installed were a brushless motor and an e-shooter electronic trigger unit (ETU). During the initial inspection, the presenter discovered significant contamination from silicone oil inside the tight-bore barrel and hop-up unit, which required a thorough cleaning.

Key internal modifications were performed to achieve the target performance. This included setting up the e-shooter ETU and performing a short-stroke modification on the trigger using epoxy for a lighter pull. The original short-stroked gears were replaced with a standard 13:1 set from Balance Airsoft, which was necessary after the initial gear configuration failed to produce the desired velocity.

For precise velocity tuning, he swapped the cylinder to a full-volume one and carefully cut a No. 110 spring. This process successfully regulated the FPS to the target range of around 395. The finished rifle demonstrated smooth operation with noticeably less motor vibration compared to a standard brushed motor setup, resulting in a high-performance build.
