Whilst many airsoft veterans are familiar with the Operation Irene milsim event hosted by Lion Claws, there is also one that is organised in the UK by Defiant Events. Stingray Airsoft got footage of the event. Held a Longmoor, participants gathered to engage in a series of coordinated tactical missions designed to replicate urban combat and peacekeeping challenges. The simulation took place in a multi-structured environment, utilizing specialized gear and airsoft equipment to maintain the thematic setting.

Throughout the duration of the event, players were divided into different factions, including military units and local civilian roles. The scheduled scenarios involved navigating through checkpoints, managing simulated crowd control, and responding to staged ambushes within the urban complex. Roleplayers acting as local residents interacted with the military units, creating situations that required negotiation and the distribution of simulated aid such as food and water.

As the simulation progressed, the intensity of the encounters increased, leading to large-scale tactical movements and the use of smoke grenades for cover. The exercise culminated in a final debrief where organizers noted the coordination and gameplay strategies employed by the participants. The event was designed to test the endurance and teamwork of those involved while adhering to the specific historical narrative of the 1993 conflict.
