Shimo Syam goes over the Craft Apple Works (CAW) Kampfpistole, an airsoft replica modeled after a historical German flare gun. He starts by lifting the lid of a bright red box to reveal the sturdy black pistol nestled safely inside alongside its manual. After a brief inspection of the build quality and trigger mechanism, the focus shifts to a sleek leather holster complete with authentic-looking stamps.
Loading this replica requires filling a multi-shot shell with airsoft gas before pouring plastic BBs into its chambers. The presenter secures the pistol inside its heavy-duty holster and takes it out into a backyard setting. The break-action barrel flips open smoothly with the push of a lever, allowing the loaded shell to slide directly into place before snapping shut for action.
The demonstration finishes with a couple of test shots aimed down a narrow path framed by bamboo walls. Instead of a loud bang, the pistol delivers a satisfying pop that sends a cloud of BBs flying toward a target in the distance. It is the kind of toy that makes you look serious while playing, even if you are just shooting at a piece of cardboard in a garden.
