Mach Sakai CA870 Custom Designed by George Tokoro

Mach Sakai reviews a unique collaboration between Maruzen and George Tokoro: the "Arakure" (Rough) Stock Kit for the CA870 airsoft shotgun. The kit features a stock that looks like it was hacked off by a rugged survivalist in a hurry, complete with visible screw holes and a deliberately unpolished finish. It’s the perfect accessory for anyone who wants their high-tech airsoft gun to look like it barely survived a scrap metal yard.

The installation process is surprisingly straightforward, involving a few screws and a bit of "rough" charm. Sakai notes that while the base gun is modern and sleek, adding this jagged stock creates a comical contrast—sort of like wearing hiking boots with a tuxedo. He even highlights a handwritten instruction sheet from George Tokoro himself, which adds a personal, albeit DIY, touch to the whole experience.

During the range test, the modified CA870 performs with its usual reliability despite its new "broken" look. Sakai finds the sawed-off grip surprisingly ergonomic, as it supports the wrist for stable one-handed firing. Whether he's hitting targets at 40 meters or admiring the loud muzzle pop, it's clear that this kit is less about tactical perfection and more about having a bit of fun with a shotgun that looks like it’s seen better days.
