Blue Jean Operator Best Thermal Device Setup For Those On A Budget

Blue Jean Operator takes a look at a thermal device for those who are on a budget... "Today we'll be taking a look at the DNT Hydra 384, which is a more budget thermal coming in at around $1500

I've been testing out quite a few different thermal optics this past year including several different high-end thermals from AGM, as well as the unconventional DRS-TH (Thermal/Red Dot Hybrid) from Holosun.

The way I've been testing out these devices is by taking them to MilSim West, which is a 40 hour light infantry simulation using Airsoft and blank fire, and using thermals to engage other people at night time.

I work at MilSim West full time so I am out there nearly every month all across the country , and since many of the players have night vision, it creates a pretty cool near-peer force on force environment when the sun goes down.

DNT recently asked if I would try out their Hydra, and since many people have asked what I thought about this company's products, I figured I would give it a try due to the cost being much more affordable to the average Joe.

So join me today as I go over the Hydra, as well as talk about my experience using it at the last event we just held, The Trenches of Orenburg in WA, and seeing how I used this budget friendly thermal to raid trenches with the boys in pretend war.

Enjoy!"
