Begadi now has this in stock, in tan colour, and with vairous sizes to choose from... "Our new Windshirt from microfibre fabric is windproof and highly water-repellent. It can act as additional insulating layer, as a temporary rain protection or simply as a shirt. Through the use of micro fibre, the shirt is very lightweight (280g in size L) and dries very fast. The material is very smooth and virtually noiseless!

The shirt was upgraded with 3 pockets, a large in the chest area and two at the upper arms! The pull-cord in the seam and the flexible cuffs help to reduce the so-called 'Windchill Factor'.

In emergencies the shirt can be stuffed with dry grass and a provisional insulation will be formed. In the summer it offers protection from short showers, without laying an extra weight on the users shoulders. A windshirt should not be missing in any SERE kit! It can be washed at normal temeratures, but should be washed without softener at 30°C.

It is to be made sure that no soap/detergent remain in the fabric, since these lower the water-rejecting characteristic! "
